About Us
Welcome to Huck Harbor, a Pacific Northwest dog collar company proudly based in Aberdeen, Washington—right near the rugged and beautiful Pacific Coast. Inspired by the outdoor lifestyle of the Northwest where we were born and raised, and the need for durable dog gear, we design and craft collars built for dogs who love adventure as much as their humans do.
Founded with a passion for animals a portion of our time is spent helping with a local non-kill dog animal shelter PAWS of Grays Harbor, and also a Texas based rescue assisting to finding displaced pets their forever homes. Both our company name "Huck Harbor" and our "Huckollar" is named after our rescue dog Huck, who is a dutch shepherd mix. Huck came to us approximately two and a half years ago, and has added great joy in our home. Huck along with our other lab mix Remi accompany us on many adventures to to the Oregon and Washington beaches. If they are not with us during an outing it is a rarity.
Our specialty is waterproof dog collars —durable, easy to clean, and made to handle rain, rivers, saltwater, and everything in between. For those who want something unique, are custom waterproof collars are outfitted with Fidlock® magnetic buckles, combining style, comfort, and security in one sleek design. Additionally we also donate a portion from each Huckollar sale to PAWS of Grays Harbor. Every collar is built with purpose: strong enough for the wild, comfortable enough for everyday wear, and stylish enough to stand out. Whether your dog is hiking forest trails, splashing in the ocean, or just hanging out at home, we’ve got them covered.

Guarantee Policy
At Huck Harbor, we stand behind the quality and durability of our products. Each collar is crafted with care using premium materials designed to withstand the elements and your dog’s adventures.
Our products are tested and we proudly guarantee against defects in materials and our craftsmanship. We guarantee our gear at the time of purchase against material defects and workmanship.
If anything is wrong with your Huck Harbor product upon purchase, we’ll work to to resolve the issue. We want you to be happy with your Huck Harbor products. If you are unhappy, we have a 30 day return & exchange policy. Please read the rules guidelines below.
Huck Harbor Guarantee Policy And Guidelines
Guarantee -
We take pride at Huck Harbor in the amount of effort and time put into our products and high quality and durable materials. That being said, they are not indestructible. We guarantee our Huck gear at the time of purchase against material defects and workmanship. If you experience a problem with any of our products, please send an email to support@dogfriendlyco.com with details and a photo of the issue. Any defect claims must be received within 30 days of purchase, otherwise we are unable to replace any items.
Please ensure that you inspect all items for wear prior to use. This warranty covers manufacturing defects, including stitching failures, hardware malfunctions, or buckle defects. If a covered issue occurs, we will repair or replace the collar at no cost to you. Our guarantee covers manufacturing and material defects only and does not include damage caused by any of the following:
- Improper use or misuse of the product
- Damage caused by chewing of the products, improper cleaning, disassembly, alterations, or modifications other than made by Huck Harbor
- Damage caused by or resulting from normal wear and tear, abuse, or other acts of nature
Return Guidelines
- Returns and exchanges must be initiated within 30 days of order delivery. If you receive an item that you suspect to be defective, please let us know by by emailing us at ben@huckharbor.com within 5 working days of receiving your product.
- Return shipping charges are paid by the customer.
- All returned items must be in NEW condition. The product must not be used, dirty or damaged, and it must include the original packaging.
Huck has a few rules that we don’t make exceptions for after the 30-day return period is over:
- No refunds or exchanges, even for unused items
- No size or color changes unless the original option is no longer available
- Customized products that are requested at initial order time are nonrefundable. Customization includes engraved tags or other special request.
- Normal wear and tear (including scratches, fading, or surface marks).
- Lost or stolen items.
Returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee. Once your return is received you will be refunded the purchase price of the product, less any original shipping costs and the restocking fee.
PLEASE NOTE
The restocking fee will be waived if you are exchanging a product or if you would like your refund in the form of a Huck Harbor store credit.

At Huck Harbor, the safety of your pet is our top priority. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, we recommend that you carefully inspect your Huck Harbor products for any signs of damage or wear before each use. If you observe any damage or part detachment, discontinue use immediately. While we use premium-quality, durable materials, along with robust premium hardware, it’s important to use our products responsibly and with care. Excessive pulling, rough behavior, or extreme conditions may cause damage to the product or discomfort and potential injury to your dog. Always monitor your dog’s behavior when using our products to avoid injury. Huck Harbor shall not be held liable for any damages including but not limited to: negligence or misuse, defect in material or workmanship, injury or death regardless of the cause. The consumer is responsible for determining suitability of the products purchased. The consumer and/or user accepts all responsibility upon purchasing or using our products. All gear and products should be used for their intended purpose and checked regularly, regardless of who it's made by or where it's purchased. cannot be held liable for any damage resulting from excessive force or rough use. Please use your best judgement when handling your pet while utilizing our products.
